Coaching & Politics

For over 30 years Sherri Rose has been developing leaders all over the world and across a variety of industries. Her clients range from startups to established industry leaders like Amazon and Google.

Sherri is now using this experience to deliver programs for candidates and elected officials.

Supporting women running for office is a special focus, and she has partnered with like-minded organizations, such as Emerge California, to achieve this goal.

At the national-level, she provided leadership coaching within the DNC during the 2022 midterm cycle.

Candidates: Strengths, Values, & Purpose Training

This training empowers candidates to confidently say:

I am…
I believe in…
And as your elected official, I will be able to…

With their individual strengths and values-based purpose statements, candidates have a powerful, personal way to connect with voters, get them excited about their candidacy, and ask for support.

In a recent cycle, 90% of the candidates who went through the program won their elections. This diverse group included women running for the first time and those already in office.

Elected Officials: Leadership Training

This training helps individuals who are in office leverage their strengths and personal values to work effectively with others. They grow their capacity to communicate their ideas, make decisions, build trust, and handle conflict all in the service of getting results in their community.

Individual Coaching

Sherri works with candidates and elected officials one-on-one to build the skills covered in her training programs.

While the sessions are tailored to the needs of the individual, Sherri’s coaching fosters self-awareness, encourages ongoing reflection and moves candidates and elected officials toward concrete action. She is relentlessly focused on her client’s goals and creates an open, trusting environment through deep listening, empathy, and humor.

Testimonials

“Sherri led a very impactful workshop. Our work with strengths and values helped us to solidify our ‘elevator pitches.’ I immediately used mine in a candidate forum and then throughout my successful re-election campaign.”

“I’ve done a lot of leadership training, but working with Sherri helped me identify strengths and values that I can use as a person and as a candidate. She worked with me to translate those into statements that will help me bring my true self to the campaign trail and create a more holistic and compelling approach. Her kindness and insight were invaluable, and I highly recommend her for any candidate for public office.”
